Most probiotic supplements rely on vegetative bacterial strains that are fragile — sensitive to stomach acid, heat, and the conditions of the digestive tract before ever reaching the gut where they are supposed to work.

RestorFlora takes a different approach, using exclusively spore-forming organisms that survive transit intact and arrive in the intestines viable and ready to colonize.

The formula combines three well-researched strains:

• Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast with an extensive track record for supporting gut balance during and after antibiotic use and periods of digestive disruption
• Bacillus subtilis HU58, which produces beneficial compounds that competitively crowd out less favorable organisms
• Bacillus clausii SC109, known for its resilience and immune-supporting activity in the gut. Together they address both the restoration of healthy flora and the suppression of disruptive organisms — which is why this is a go-to during gut protocols, travel, antibiotic courses, or any period of microbial disruption.

Because the strains are spore-based, the formula is shelf-stable and requires no refrigeration. Capsules can also be opened and mixed into food or non-carbonated beverages.
